Hello to all,

It’s that time of year when I ask myself, why am I staring at screen and not at a river? I guess when the day’s are as dark and cold as they are now a warm fire and a good book will have to do. I’ve been reading (and mostly enjoying) this forum off and on for some time now and I guess its time to start piping in. I hope my occasional contribution will be positive and I promise not to talk politics.

You stare at the screen because the water is stiff and your line would be too if you were trying to get it wet.

Welcome.

Not to brag (okay maybe a little) but I have my screen set up so I look out the window and see the river. Sure looks cold right now with steam rising up from it.
