jdmidwest
FLYTYINGCONTEST.com Was poking around on Feather Craft's website tonight and saw a link to this site. Brian Wise
We are kicking off the new 2011 Contest NOW. Submit your flies guys....a chance at having your pattern go into production is pretty cool. :-) Also, if there are any tying video ideas you have let me know, we are looking to do more of those this year. jdmidwest
I guess I missed it last spring, but the name is deceptive. It is a great site with good pattern ideas and info instead of just a contest. Lots of good content, well done. Brian Wise
Exactly...we wanted it to be less of a "competition" and more of a site to get some ideas, launch some new stuff, and still have a contest and award awesome prizes. It is a lot of fun. Brian My Youtube Channel

Brian Sloss
I looked it up, I really like the winning stone fly. I might have to get that for my shop. It looks like a fly designed for the Eleven Point and the NFOW. Wonder if it can be improved with rubber legs. Rubber legs are like the bacon of the fly world for me. They almost always make everything better. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
Brian Wise
http://flytyingcontest.com/2011/01/12/and-the-winner-is/ I thought you would like that fly Brian! It is one of those flies that guys like us (who eat sleep and breathe stoneflies) probably should have come up with ourselves! flytyer57
Yum, fried stonefly or chocolate covered? Raw!!! There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
