I'm thinking about purchasing one of Mark's RDP Rods in a three weight. If you own one, I would like to hear your "pro's and con's". Please let us all know or send me a PM. I've narrowed down my choices between the RDP and the Redington "CT".

Mark, no cheating now...

I've got one of his 1wt rods, and it is a nice casting rod, reminds me of the older

IM6 loomis rods, great rod for the money.

My vote would be for one of Murdoc's{Mark} custom built RDP. Murdoc is a fine craftsman and a flyrodder as well. He understands what you need in a flyfishing tool.

I have one of Mark's 4/5 wt's. It fishes very well. He asks all of the right questions before the build begins so you are assured to get what you want. Price is right and the lead time is excellent. Good luck! You will be very pleased with the whole process of getting your rod.

I caught this nice trout on one of Mark's 7 1/2 1 wts, the rod casts and fishes well, great lite rod for the money.
