This last summer I caught multiple walleye weighing from the 2-10 lb. range and I have heard that there is a spot called either Suzy hole or Suzy rock that is a really good place for them in mid to late February to mid March and was wondering if anyone could give me some general directions... thanks! FishinCricket Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 News to me, man... There's a "Suzy Hole" in Bennett (which flows into the Niangua) but it most certainly doesnt hold any walleye... Honestly I didn't know the Niangua held many Walleye.. Must be down closer to the lake...? cricket.c21.com

Goggle-Eyed Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Susan Rock is down below the "power house". It is an out cropping of rocks on the left side of the river (if you are headed down stream). I am not sure who owns the property there. I usually run the jet up there and on up. I have caught walleye as the spill way but the best fishing seems to be the first shoal above the power house. If you are planning on running a jet any further above the power house be careful, it get's real tricky. Joe

At the end of that journey they reach the spillway below tunnel dam lake. I don't think they are capable of going up the spillway like trout and salmon.

I've caught crappie as far up as Barclay... But walleye like deeper water, don't they? Lead mine's about as far up as those deeper holes go.. Can't think of more than a handful of holes above leadmine that are over 20 ft deep.. Spose I could always be wrong, I've never targeted the bottoms on the deep pockets.. cricket.c21.com
