GloryDaze Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Why waste time trying to shovel. Gonna be 49° on Saturday and 58° on Sunday. That my friend is a good point- just checked the weather here and looks like we will be enjoying that warm up as well! Follow me on Twitter @DazeGlory
taxidermist Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 No snow at 3:30 and now we are at 13 inches. Wife was told yesterday that they would be in school Friday and Saturday. Somehow I think the People in charge are wrong really wrong! Still snowing hard here at 10:30AM
creek wader Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Really? Really? ... I feel sorry for you guys. We're over 40" for the year (season) in NW Missouri. Nothing like standing knee deep in snow cleaning 18" of snow off your car with an ice scraper. You'd think by now, I'd at least carry a broom and a shovel. wader
flytyer57 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Really? Really? ... I feel sorry for you guys. We're over 40" for the year (season) in NW Missouri. Well what did you expect living up there in YANKEE land? That's one reason why I moved away from Wisconsin. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
creek wader Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 You're right. My own fault for living up here. I think that is why spring is my favorite season. wader
Wayne SW/MO Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Hardly Yankee land. At least its not as hilly Creek Wader. What county are you in? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
jdmidwest Posted February 10, 2011 Author Posted February 10, 2011 They called for 1 to 3 inches today here, ended up with less than an inch of the finest snow I have ever seen. It fell like dust today and never made it over 18 degrees. Looks like next Wed. it will be 60 here. Quillback Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Minus 10 degrees here in Bella Vista this morning. That will set the record for low cold for this date.
trout fanatic Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 We got less than an inch this go around (makes up for the 25 inches we got last week I suppose). Looking forward to the warmup
creek wader Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Hardly Yankee land. At least its not as hilly Creek Wader. What county are you in? Buchanan County. ..and yes it is very hilly. All river bluff, where I live. .... just no smallies wader
