Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 6, 2011 Root Admin Posted February 6, 2011 The Wheelers are dominating trout fishing so far this year. Their jig fishing technique is hooking nicer rainbows for sure. Not as many nicer rainbows than last weekend. Conditions mirrored last Saturday - high sun and little wind but there was some wind which should have been better and I think it was. Alot of guys reported catching quite a few smaller rainbows, especially down lake close to the Landing and Scotty's. The Rogers team said they caught 50 rainbows but nothing big enough to weigh.
Gatorjet Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Congratulations to Bryon and Josh, and to all who placed in the money. Thanks Phil, and the entire staff at Lilleys Landing for another great R.A.W. Tournament. It was good as always to see everybody that I usually only see at R.A.W. That is one of the things that make it so special. Bob Wehnert Real men go propless!
ColdWaterFshr Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Paul Dallas would like to thank all his sponsors for helping him place first with a record bag of 19.26 lbs. Big fish came in a little over 7 lbs on a b-z buzzbait and porkrind trailer working submerged cedars on a transitional bank near the mile marker 19.
