Well now you'll be able to pull up the Internet faster with the iPhone.. Kewl, eh?

(holy crap, Oneshot has an iPhone! Kewl!)

I was thinking the same thing. Pretty awesome, never would have pictured that in my life. :)

I had to read that twice myself.

I thought I would like an IPad but I like my Laptop just fine.

I think an iPad would be better suited for easy chair OAFing and poker playing (if Full Tilt has the app available).

I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted.

I like having cell phone coverage as I am on call for work so it is a must for me. With the digital age I can service our hospitals from anywhere so it allows me much more freedom and time to fish.

Those times I have been called while fishing I always walk away from the stream and call the client back. I am also annoyed by people talking loudly on the stream about crap I don't care about....so I don't do it myself. If I didn't need to be plugged in I would just turn the phone off. The advantages of cell phone coverage and internet coverage far outweigh the negatives IMO.

Full tilt does NOT have the app available.. I dont think?

I know when I first looked into it Apple wouldn't allow any gambling apps. One of the reasons I got a droid OS phone over the iPhone was the Rush Poker Mobile App. It is an "off market" app, so I thought such an "out of iTunes" app might be out there for the iPad.

Without unlocking the phone, there aren't any "real" money gambling games on the iPhone/iPad..

But I would hope you don't gamble with real money online... Do you?

I've thought about an Ipad or Xoom, not that I need one, but that has never stopped me before. The fact that you don't have to boot up every time you've put it away and want start up again, like a laptop, appeals to me.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Not with money I have deposited. I do have $13 and change in my account. I started with 30 some odd cents I won in a free roll. Only the websites who offer real money play have "play money" games worth playing though.

and for the record, IF I ever did get an iPhone it would be jailbroken the same day.

What a maroon! :woohehe:

I work on a commission basis, bub... My livelihood can't be compressed into a 9-5.

I was standing underneath the bridge in zone 2 just this past year and answered a call cause I didn't recognize the number off hand.. (I do keep my phone on vibrate). It was Delores M, a little old lady who lives all by herself.. She had left her key in her ignition (for two weeks, lol) and ran her battery down.. She didn't know who else to call, and she had accidentally called my cell phone Instead of the business number.. She happens to live next to Bennett so I just packed up and went on over.. Turns out her late husband has a trickle charger (Danged good one too!), so I just put it on a charger and hung out with her for a while.. (actually fixed a few things around the house, but that's a different tale)

Long and short is that professional Customer Service Reps like me are ALWAYS on duty..

Now that's what I'm tawkin 'bout brotha!!! Good job man!

(BTW what the heck is it that you do that makes you that much commission on 3 deals? Nevermind, I may not wanna know.. ;) )

Yes I agree with this. Some jobs just are not 9/5. I'm a healthcare manager and I'm more or less always on call. I've been forced several times into making work decisions stream-side. Do I like that? No but it's just a fact of life.
