Macsimus Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Just wondering if there is still snow on the ground in the lake area? I'm planning to bring my wife down this weekend to check out the area, but, I don't need to see any more snow. We've had more than enough of that in Minnesocold this winter. Thanks. duckydoty Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 About 50% of the ground is still covered this morning. Most of it should be gone by the end of the day today. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
skeeter Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Can only see limited areas with snow cover left in typical locations. North sides of hills, shaded areas, parking lots and some roadsides with massive piles of snow from plowing etc. Had a temp. of 40 at 6 A.M. so it melted all night but will be gone by the weekend....except for plow piles.
Macsimus Posted February 15, 2011 Author Posted February 15, 2011 Thanks guys. I see the temps are supposed to be in the 60s, maybe even 70 Thurs? That's downright tropical! Looking forward to a cabin-fever-free weekend! "There was a time that I didn't fish, but I cannot remember it."
