Justin Spencer Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Finally and thankfully have the river back up to normal after the rain earlier this week. After watching it being so low for months I'm a little scared to try and fish it, looks like lots of water! Felt an earthquake last night around 11, thought the kids were running around but they were asleep and the globes on the ceiling fan rattled for about 10 seconds or so. Couldn't tell, but I don't think the river flowed backward. Time is right for big streamers and big browns with the water flowing like it is. Here's a pic of one caught right off our ramp weekend before last. With yesterday's beautiful weather I saw not a single boat float by all day. I would have gone, but spent the day painting in the new fly shop. Here's a pic of one caught right off our ramp weekend before last. The earthquake was a 4.7 centered around Guy, AR. A lot of people felt that one. As for the pic, I must be blind. I don't see it. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
Justin Spencer Posted February 28, 2011 Author Posted February 28, 2011 As for the pic, I must be blind. I don't see it. Guess it wasn't as big as I thought. Still working on attaching it, keeps stopping on me and I'm too stupid to figure out how to resize it. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 28, 2011 Root Admin Posted February 28, 2011 I felt it too. Laying in bed almost asleep and felt the bed shaking. Very eery. Thought about the dam and water for just a second. Then went to sleep.
jdmidwest Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 That fault has been popping for a while now. Some think it may be because of the Gas Fracting in that area. I did not feel it here, we were dealing with a tornado watch last night. Recent Quakes "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
