ollie Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Hello everyone. We are planning our 3rd annual clean up this spring for April 9th which falls on a Saturday like usual. We will start at noon and go until around 3:00. There will be food and drink for all those who get there and thank you gifts afterwards like always. This time we will meet at the lower end of the park or the north end. Please meet at the pavillion right across the RR tracks. It is where the old Webbs one stop use to be for those who rememeber. I will be there early to make sure this year no one steals our spot!! If anyone has anything to donate please contact me and I will make sure we use it. Thanks "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!

Buzz Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Should I bring my waders? Yeah bring your waders. We can always use people in the creek picking up trash. I'll be there with the canoe in tow. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
ollie Posted March 29, 2011 Author Posted March 29, 2011 Come one, come all as they say! Thanks Buzz and please join us yummysmokedham! I am hoping for good weather as always. Rick says he is bringing his boat so we can do the double whamy on the stream! ollie Posted April 6, 2011 Author Posted April 6, 2011 Just wanted to bump this up! What time will you make it down Buzz? "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Buzz Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 I haven't decided yet. I'd like to get down early enough to do some fishing, but I won't know until Friday evening. Otherwise I'll try to be there by about 11:30 am. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
ollie Posted April 7, 2011 Author Posted April 7, 2011 Ok, just wondering cause I will be there early making sure our spot doesn't get taken this year!!!! ollie Posted April 25, 2011 Author Posted April 25, 2011 Alas, all is in vein it would seem. The creek is flooding now as I type and I know it will flush trash into Shoal Creek and dump new trash into Hickory. More work ahead of us for next clean-up.
