Quick report here…not much to brag about. Ha-ha

We put in at Hermitage around 3pm and fished until 7pm. The lake is up an additional two feet from last week. Most the water in the main lake was 44 to 46 degrees but did find some 52 degree water back in a cove. The visibility was about 3 feet.

It was a pretty day out but the fishing was tough. We couldn’t buy a bite. It was very humbling to say the least.

Hopefully this warming trend continues. If it does the fish should be moving up in a couple weeks.

I'm hoping for the same, the forcast looks great with above normal highs during the days and 50 degree overnights! I'm glad to see the water temps stayed around 44 or so, i figured after that ice and snow the other day we might have lost a few degrees. Thanks for the report Trav.

Trav,

Dont feel alone, I fished about 8 hours this weekend and touched 1 fish. After fishing jigs for 5 hours with nothing, I picked up a spinnerbait and on the third cast hit a 3.5, I figured "here we go" but didnt get another the rest of the weekend.
