Chief Grey Bear Posted April 12, 2011 Author Posted April 12, 2011 Speaking of weather, here is what we are looking at now. Severe storms Thursday. Clear cooler Friday, highs in the 50's. Saturday, clear, highs in the upper 50's. Sunday, clear high 65. SOOOOOO, if we get lucky again, we have dodged most of the rain and storms so far, and we don't get enough rain to blow it out, is 65* OK with you guys??? I won't say how the fishing will be but, I would bet this cold front is gonna put a hurt on them in the creeks. Maybe, maybe not. I have been on the verge of cancelling and moving to a date in May. Mid May due to turkey hunting and other fishing trips already scheduled. I have one member that I really want to come but, can't make any dates in May due to other commitments. So if you guy's want to risk it, I will wait until Friday evening to make the call. What say you???? wily Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 if we could move it to a later time this sunday it would help me -- might help the fishing too. how about a 1030 start time??
Members markw Posted April 14, 2011 Members Posted April 14, 2011 Hey why not have another float in may -- even if as many can't make it we'll still have fun.
bigredbirdfan Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Wish I didn't have plans. Have fun and look forward to a nice photo documentary next week.
Stoneroller Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 i'd like to float the osage fork of the gasconade sometime in midmay... just tossing that out there if there is interest we could surely set something up. (it's significantly closer for me too =) Fish On Kayak Adventures, LLC. Supreme Commander 'The Dude' of Kayak fishing www.fishonkayakadventures.com fishonkayakadventures@yahoo.com
