I saw a pair of Korkers the other day at the Bass Pro Outlet in Springfield that had a fair price on them, and they were even my size. May have to make another run up there and check them out a little closer.

I wish I could find some wading boots with heaters in them. I think I still have frostbite from wading Saturday.

Alot goes into fit of the boot and your socks, etc. A boot too tight will cut off circulation, and cause cold feet. I also wear a liner sock under a wool sock on very cold days. This allows wicking of sweat and keeps you feet a bit warmer. Just a few thoughts.

You could also try those chemical things that go in your boots between your socks and boots. They're like the hand warmers but made for boots.

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

I think your right. My waders are probably not fitted right. Got them at the outlet store really cheap. I will try your suggestion of a liner under a wool sock next time.

I have a pair of Simms that I've used maybe a dozen times.

Size 11

They're similar to these:

Oh, I wore these yesterday and they were like bricks strapped to my feet.

I'm needing to find the lightest most durable pair on the market.

Any ideas??

Z.Hoyt, which pair of Korkers did you like?

I picked up a pair of the korkers torrents and I really like them, pair them up with a pair of neoprene socks and I get no gravel in my shoes. They run a bit small so get a size larger than normal.
