Thanks again for the full responses, Gatorjet.. My questions were based sorta around the wording of some of the documents I found Shen I researched the question via google.. Like:

So I guess I'd ask what exactly is the difference between "carrying" and "carrying concealed"...? Does it have to be sitting out on the dashboard?

No, anywhere in your car is OK. On your person requires the CCW license.

A little more advise if you plan on using your new Elsie Pea for self defense. Get a box or two of lower cost full metal jacket ammo to do some "break in" and check the operation. 380 ACP is getting easier to find than it was a year ago. Wal Mart often has Winchester USA, we call it "white box" in 100 round value packs for usually under $30. Some people prefer the FMJ for self defense because it theoretically provides deeper penetration. The modern HP rounds today have improved a lot, and there are several that will perform well. Do a little research, and pick a couple to try. Give them a test run with a box or so to make sure they function OK before you depend on them for self defense.

Just a FYI. my chosen load is Hornady Critical Defense, with Remington Golden Saber a close second choice, and Speer Gold Dot 3rd. All have worked perfectly in my Elsie, but some guns have a preference toward certain ammo.

Oh I can just image the stories that are going to come out of this with Cricket winning a gun...

For example:

One day as FFM and Cricket are fishing out of a canoe on a lazy Sunday morning just outside of Bennett Springs. The following occurred:

FMM says “Hey Cricket, I have 3 nice fish in my stringer, how many do you have”

Pausing for 1 minute, the sounds rang out “ Boom… Boom… Boom… Boom”

Cricket says “I just limited out plus my fish are already gutted too”.

LOL

Later,

FFM

Woo Hoo Fish On!!

What has the world come to?

Now we have pistol packin' Crickets running around.

God (invisble cloud being or whatever) help us all.

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
