Wanted to bring this to your attention. Brian or Justin haven't been on the forum- Brian since yesterday afternoon and Justin in a few days.

If anyone has any word on how their places fared in high water, please let us know.

I was concerned about Justin (had seen Brian posting) but have not called him yet as I figured he has been plenty busy. I hope someone haas heard from him as well.

I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted.

Talked to Amy last night (Tues.) around 8pm they are doing ok....water in the Dead Drift Fly Shop, but everything removed before the water hit. River House has water, and I think in the little cabins.........know they will have a lot to clean up once the water drops. I don't know if they had rain today, but here on the IL side of St. Louis it started raining around 12pm and was still raining around 745pm. One of the guys at the Hargroves fly shop said he talked to Amy this am and had about the same info I had...............

ROLF is good to go now, water got into the fishermans room and the camper showers/bathroom but really not much else. Stopped at Sunburst to check on Justin and Amy and watched the river go down a little with them. They are in good spirits (I seriously doubt they EVER get in bad spirits anyway.)

Things here are good, just messy. Water was chest high in the campstore/flyshop, didn't get everything up quite high enough, but most can be salvaged. Riverhouse was a few feet high and bathhouse 3 feet or so. Got the riverhouse and campstore cleaned up and half of the bathhouse. One ice machine is probably in the lake by now as are a few old crappy canoes I really didn't want anyway. Thankfully water didn't reach the sleeper cabins, had to be within an inch or two. I'll try to get some pics up in the near future, time to fire up the pressure washer and get back after it.

Thanks everyone for concerns and calls (even if we didn't pick up).

3rd highest recorded water on the North Fork at 81,000 cfs which is a little tough to wade.

Glad to hear you got though it relatively unscathed, and I hope everything goes well in the cleanup.

I'm going to have to get down there for a trip. I'm getting ready to move to your area, starting next week I'll be the new regional planner at SCOCOG (South Central Ozarks Council of Governments) in Pomona.

Oh and if you ever have any more "old crappy canoes" you don't really want any more, let me know, And I'll drive over and take one off your hands. :D
