redbud Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 We launched at the Shell Knob bridge ,the dock was in place, but you may have to clear a little flotsam and jetsam out of the way. Fishing was tough but we managed a limit way back in the sloppy water .Lots of debris in the water be careful out there,I dont think I would want to be up on plane after dark even with a good spot light.
techo Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Thanks, Snakem. Seems like I heard one time that lots of fish live in Aunt's Creek. Big fish. Shlaunches. Chunkers. Swamp donkeys. Tournament winners. And all such as that. That would be the Kings side! You are very naughty! Donna please rein him in! Tim Carpenter
Members NuB2TR Posted May 13, 2011 Members Posted May 13, 2011 Fortunately, I had my boat out of my slip when the high water came in and stranded our dock. I've used the ramp at the Shell Knob bridge and can confirm the courtsey dock was usable. I did, however, see a homemade, plywood sign with an arrow pointing down stream that read "Free Beer at Aunts Creek". BTW ....does anyone know how to get spraypaint off fingers?
