Northern Illinois Smallmouth

Fun time in N. Illinois...hit the lake out front for an hour on Wednesday and caught a nice largemouth on a twin spin..fished the outlet for an hour and a half yesterday....lots of nice smallmouth, some greenies, and two bonus walleye on an eakins jig! First smallmouth of the year....and its been years since I've caught a walleye.

Elizabeth, Ill to be exact. It's right next door to Galena.

Wade fished the Apple river for smallies. (they're fat and stupid)

Fished Apple Canyon Lake with a property owner (its private and full of tubby Largemouths)

Some of the best fishing anywhere. Good times.
