Out at 5:30 this am.First stop they were there,picked up the fin and bam.First fish a 21/half jaw,on the way to the boat another one hooked up with her 18and a half incher.got them in,first time ever for me they were in 2 to 6 fow.water temp 76.3. They were feeding real good on the shad.Caught lm k and whites till 8:30 all on the fin every fish was a keeper no shorts, what a blast. The old top water is turning on thanks to the warmer water. Hang on and have a blast. ps had about 10 or 12 keepers.

Had about the same morning at Kimberling, but no Whites and we did catch some shorts 8 keeps. Also had a pretty decent grub bite shallow till 8:30 then it went to heck in a hand basket. 5:30 to 7:30 was our magic time however.

Have a nice young man staying here at the lodge that went out early. I believe he had several nice keepers on both a jig and tube. Said they would blow on the topwater, but no hookups. His bite was over at 8:15.

Wow. Temps in the 70's must mean we are ready for another massive cold front and deluge. Good to hear the lake is warming and the TW is picking up some.
