Trout Commander Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 I've started to use an indicator leader that I've come to love. I use floatant on the indicator portion, but I was wondering if there is something better. Stupid question from a newbe, but wouldn't a thin coat Vaseline work well? Let me know and thanks in advance. Mic, I recently read (in Blood Knot Magazine) that paraffin wax dissolved in ether (or similar) has been one of the best fly floatants (and line cleaner/dressing) for decades. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack
