eric1978 Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Some nice fish there. Don't wanna start a whole big thing here, but if you were releasing them, why are they all on a stringer? Were you fishing a tourney or something? Seriously, I'm just curious...not giving you trouble.
rps Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 I am glad you released them, and I am glad you have a picture with the boy and the fish and the smiles.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 25, 2011 Root Admin Posted June 25, 2011 Nice stringer of bass. Making unreplaceable memories with your boy!

405z06 Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Good work. I wanted to throw up when I saw the stringer, but then I saw that you released them. My Mother's husband said he tore them up on Friday. He said it seemed like every fish was 4lbs.

Again, I'm just curious. There are plenty of green slimies in Lake O to go around...and they have poop on them anyway.
Members STLfisherman Posted June 29, 2011 Members Posted June 29, 2011 Caught this 4 pounder at midnight on Sunday.
DChance Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 There is nothing wrong with harvesting a few bass anyway. As long as they get eaten and not wasted and the bigguns get released, there's no harm in eating a few keepers. Bass are quite good.
