This may seem a little "old hat" but the streamer bite on the North Fork of the White is absolutely awesome. I will be the first to say that numbers are not there....numbers come from nymphing and the nymph bit is still off. But we are still getting swirls, follows, or takes from a big fish on every-single-trip on bigger streamers. This kind of fishing defenitely makes you earn it though, you have to commit to throwing big streamers, and be ok with getting blanked or just catching a couple of fish. It isn't called "Hero or Zero" for nothing....but when you get a "hero" fish-----it makes every cast worth it.

This fish ate a White Dungeon at 10:00 in the morning...in bright sun...over 100 feet from the closest shade. Measured just over 27" and is seriously one of the gnarliest browns I have ever touched....look at the HEAD ON THAT THING!!

I'm not down-playing it's size...the thing was massive, but it 'felt' so much bigger in-hand...as it was eyeing my arm for it's next meal.

(sorry for the bad quality photos, those are screen-shots from the video we got of the fish)

We have been doing really well with the white Dungeon and the Ice Pick in white too. Natural colors are catching some nice smallmouth.

Rich Strolis, one of the best tiers. Time to order some Fish Skullz...
