Gills are a good sign - try 2 to 5 feet deeper than the gills.

Fish for walleye in BSL instead of Norfork.

Hi Im Leslie Wake

Twin Lakes Guide Service. The walleye are biting on Norfork I Guide on Both Norfork AND Bull Shoals Iwent out sat on Norfork and caught my limit With the biggest being a 24 INCHER

So the wallye bite is on.I found that the walleye had moved out past the brush now to 25 to 30 ft. so try a little deeper the week before they were at 20 ft.

Thanks for the info Leslie. Im back home now. Apparently I was fishing too deep for them last week. Sounds like they are now where I was fishing for them. Next time I'm down on Norfork I'll hire you for a day. Lou from Hummingbird mentioned that you were guiding for walleyes on Norfork.

Leslie, Marty F. here. Is the water still ultra clear at Norfork? Last time I was there you could plainly see the bottom in 25 to 30 feet of water in the lower part of the lake. Just wondering.

you can see about 5 feet some parts a little better some a little worse but you dont have to put up with all the trees now since they are out past them
