Yesterday On The Lake

Bait area has been fishing great below Fall Creek. Almost everyday the guides are reporting fish that are just simply huge. The last couple of days Buster Loving has had a 10 pounder to the boat and then yesterday, he had a 7 pound Rainbow in the boat. All on Crawlers. Others reporting the same type of fishing.

I have handed out more 20 inch pens this year than I can remember. Buster said the big fish are just coughing up Sculpin. We are all also catching sculpin while after the willey rainbow. Must be huge Sculpin numbers in the lake. Fish are just gorging on them. Might be why that Olive/Green/Sculpn Brown jig is doing so well.

We had 6 browns yesterday in the restricted zone. Nothing big, but they were brown.
