Quillback Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Go this fish last night, using a 10" Black/blue fleck Zoom Ol' Monster. She taped out at about 24", didn't have a scale to weigh her, but I'm estimating around 7 lbs. Cast to a point that has a brush pile on it, let it drop, started to move the worm, felt something solid, at first thought I was hung up in the brush, but the snag began moving. She jumpee and cleared the water a couple of times, but got her in the boat, snapped a couple of pics, and let her go.
TroutRinger Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Ya I'd piggie is a good word to describe that fish. Nice going "Of all the liars among mankind, the fisherman is the most trustworthy." "There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore like an idiot."
Guest Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Thats a stout fish, makes me wish I would have been at Bella Vista night fishing. Awesome catch. Thanks for posting
