Bass In October

Gonna probably be sidelined until October. Have a small club tourney then. What should I expect to throw and what areas of the lake are best in October. Thanks

We found a lot of fish up around the dam in late October last year. Football jigs and spinnerbaits on main lake points. Water temps were in the low 50's - lots of shad in the coves at that point. Of course the lake was way down, don't know how that will change things this year.

If the water is up, I'd be thinking about the Cave Hole area for lmb and smb. If it isn't I'd be looking at the lower lake.

Yes above the McCracken bridge. I like to fish from Wheatland to there in the fall when the river allows it.

Where is ths McCracken Bride? I am familiar with pomme, just not all the local names of places. When I was referring to up the Pomme, I meant up from Bolivar landing. I have been close to PP bridge when the water was high.
