Aaron J Scott
I was reading through the minutes from the recent Conservation Commission meeting and noticed a line about approving a 25-acre land purchase for an addition to Wire Road CA. Anyone have an idea where the land is? Will it open up more public access to the creek? In case you didn't hear about it already, they also approved the ban of felt-soled boots "in trout parks and other specific trout water," effective March 1, 2012. Save Scratch, Raise Cash. Fish Itch! Dutch
I didn't know that they were buying. I tried to sell them 800 acres along Crane creek and they said they weren't buying anything right now.
Trout Commander
I didn't know that they were buying. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. Dutch
How much river frontage? In the trout water? Don't know. Never measured it. Found an out of stater who wanted it more than I so it is all his now but it could have been public if MDC had wanted it.
Members parachiteadams39
It is the parcel on the south side of the creek opposite the ball fields. I won't open up much new creek but will increase access as well as improving management of that part of the creek watershed.
