timsfly
I caught, browns, rainbows, walleye, bluegill, bass and a sucker on taney the other day, would that be a grand slam ? or did I need a whitebass, a smallmouth bass, and a catfish to round it out ? just wondering, the fishing has been great though. Gatorjet
I'd say leave out the Bluegill, and Sucker, and add a Smalle! More like the "Big Five" than a grand slam. Real men go propless!
laker67
I would say you hit the jackpot Tim. In 36 years of fishing taney I have only caught 1 bluegill on the upper end. Grand slam in my book. The big five would be five fish over 10 pounds apiece.
