Members BigMinnow Posted September 24, 2011 Members Posted September 24, 2011 Whats up with the bass over running my crappie beds, two weeks ago I could catch a limit of 12inch crappie in about two hours today I conly caught 9 keeper crappie, an I dont know how many ump-teen bass. Yeah sure its kind if a fun fight but man it gets old. It didn't matter what I fished with minnows, jigs, or crank baits they all caught bass. They just about had me to the point to were I wanted to just throw then on the bank and leave em for the crows, but I would not and did not do that, instead I pulled my beds and maybe they will move on out in a day or so. I never been much on bass fishing but with the size of a couple of them I kind of felt like I was Bill Dance, ok maybe they weren't that big but they were a good four or five pounds plus all the 14-16 inchers I pulled out. I hope you guys find them and get them out of my way.
Members L W Little Posted September 24, 2011 Members Posted September 24, 2011 I think the winning weight for the midlake bass club was 18.66 Leonard Little Leawood, KS and 53.5 MM at LKOZ 2005 Champ 198

Members Stephen Hall Posted September 25, 2011 Members Posted September 25, 2011 LOL. Water is down quite a bit more since my last post. Fishing is still better on the low mile marker side of Sunrise Beach. The water over there is beautiful and blue. The water over by mm 38 is still murky. The shad are THICK, either side. This is my signature, there are many like it, but this one is mine. http://urlmd.com
