Members Wooly Bugger Posted September 30, 2011 Members Posted September 30, 2011 My name is Brian and I am from St. Louis. I just came across this site. I realy like fly fishing and enjoy connecting with other anglers. I recently started up a small online site called Wooly Bugger Fly Co. (www.woolybuggerflyco.com), not to get rich but to have fun. Right now, I offer quality discount flies starting at $0.65. I don't like overpaying for flies and I figure many guys feel the same way. I have met so many people already as a result of this site. It has been amazing. Plus, its a great way to share my faith and minister to other guys. So if you get a chance, I would love some feedback on the site. How about the first response receives a free Wooly Bugger Hat? Wooly Bugger Fly Co. www.woolybuggerflyco.com Then Jesus said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men." Danoinark Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I was impressed with the site. It's easy to navigate, not cluttered. The big brown on the first page sure catches ones attention. Good luck on your new biz. Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
XP 590 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Don't you sell anything else?? The Woolybugger is the ONE fly I can actually tie. Site looks good.
Jack Jones Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I love the site. It is very easy to navigate. Congrats on having the courage and the tenacity to do this. A few observations I have.....here in the Land of Taneycomo, grey scuds are the word. I've never had as much success on olive. Second, when clicking on your wet flies section it states no products available. Nothing is more frustrating than perusing a site and finding empty the sections you may be looking for. I would suggest considering eliminating a heading until you have stock, rather than leave it empty. Makes the site seem more complete. My opinion only and that's worth what you paid for it. On the flip side, depending on how many flies I lose this weekend, I may be ordering soon. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted September 30, 2011 Root Admin Posted September 30, 2011 Where are the flies tied?
flyfishmaster Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Glad to have you on board. Later FFM Woo Hoo Fish On!!
kevthebassman Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I like the site, easy to navigate, clean interface, very simple and straightforward. The thing I hate most about some vendor's websites is that they get cluttered to death in banners, extra menus, and all manner of "improvements" to the point that they are painful to even look at. Whereabouts in St. Louis are you guys? I wouldn't mind dropping by some day.
