Fished out of Mill Creek yesterday finished 8th out of 76 boats with 8.45lbs with 4 fish with a 3.5 smallmouth for

our big fish. My Dad had 6 bites and two were keepers one was a nice meanmouth. I had three bites two were keepers and the other one was a 13 inch rock bass. Just 1lb and 3/4 seperated us from a top 3. 14lbs and chage won and it dropped from there. Several 5 fish limits that was under 8lbs. Tournament paid two big bass. Both looked liked twinkies one was 51/2 and the other was barely over 5lbs. Slow day. I would suggest fishing areas you have confidence in. Our biggest fish came from 20ft. The other three were caught in less than 10ft. Those FLW anglers will figure somthing out.

Good job on a tough day. I had thought about going down here in a bit but that doesn't sound like very much fun :D I know I struggled on Sun and this time of year can get brutal when fish are in transition and you get high pressure systems. A little more wind today might help so I still might head down around noon and do some practice casting.

Was hoping we could find a fifth keeper bite but it didn't happen. Just fish hard and you never know what will

happen. It can happen fast. I agree with the wind being a huge factor. There was plenty of bait shallow or in the middle of the creek arms that we fished and if the wind would blow like it is today you could cover lots of water and get a good reaction bite.

Can't get motivated for some reason today...probably has something to do with all the stuff I need to do around the house. I will probably wait until Sunday and might even head down to Bull for some new scenery.
