laker67 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 In the past few years, night fishing has showed a steady gain in attendance each season. I have seen night time attendence this year in record numbers. Concerning lights, I am not sure if people are unaware or have a just don't care attitude. So, for those of you who are new to the night time game, and unaware, LIGHTS SCARE FISH AND BLIND OTHER, MORE COURTEOUS ANGLERS. The past 2 weekends have been a continuous parade of rude, loud, and discouteous anglers. Keep them lights off and quit walking all over people because point A is the shortest distance to point B. Use some common sense people. Thank you.

NOT CAT FISHING.... you DO NOT need a 1000 watt lantern to sit on the bank (still on) and then keep your lights on while you fish... Most of the guys that fishing at night will agree with this... **** The more you keep your light off.. the more fish you will probably catch!~** It is not night "pitch black" down there at night... yes it may get really foggy... But its not that dark.. Leonard http://www.taneycomonights.com
duckydoty Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Hi Duane. Only caught 1 this weekend, but I caught 4 last saturday night. Stringer weight was 23.5 lbs. That's awesome Rick. When you coming down again. I would make an exception to the weekend rule to sit on the bank and watch you work your magic! A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Tell you what, you come down, take my spot, and I will set on the bank and watch you.
Members jasperflyfisher Posted October 23, 2011 Members Posted October 23, 2011 Thanks for the fly last night Leonard. Had a good time and learned a few things. Glad I left when I did. That was a long drive home. Did the fishing get any better after I left?
brother dave Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Absolutely on the lites and remember when you gotta turn on your light to tie a fly or pick your nose, red light ,green light or white, face the bank. the fish may stick around and the people fishin next to you might return the courtesy too. And thats a big string of fish Rick! Nice! I shop at the outdoor grocery store
