MOBass Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I don't fish the parks much but will be taking the kids down Sunday. Are Gulp and Powerbaits classified as a soft plastic or are they considered a food type bait? Trying to figure out what can be used in Zone 1. I tried to find the regs on this, but my internet mojo is not working.
gotmuddy Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 food type everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Gavin Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 http://mostateparks.com/page/54247/fishing Here's your regs...Gulp (Scented bait) & powerbait in Zone 3 only. Good Luck.
timsfly Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 The only power bait that is ileagle in zone 1 is the moldable types, all plastic gulp and plastic power bait products are ok in zone 1, the game wardens told me if it can be molded into a different shape, it would be considered ileagle, if it can be smashed and it rebounds back to it's original shape, it is considered plastic. All moldable or paste baits are only leagle in zone 3. Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop
