Guest Buck Creek Mike Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Well, there doesn't seem to be any action on the LOz board so I thought I'd at least pipe up and let y'all know that I will be there this weekend. I will probably bass fish, possibly find time to crappie fish also. I'll be around the 7MM, so I'll let you know how it goes. I've heard bass are hit and miss (excuse the pun), but crappie are a little more predictable. I just recently started back to bass fishing after going striclty crappie for a coulple of years, and I remember why I like it so much, other than the fact that I can catch way more crappie than bass. Well, good luck to all of you and I'll give a report when I get back, it may at least tell you what not to do!
fishinwrench Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Good luck, Mike. Lemme know if ya see any whites in the backend of Buck creek or Cape H. , been thinking about dumping in at Millstone just to check it out, but with the Soap cr. bridge being out it's too far to drive for me just to check out a hunch. Tear'em up!
Guest Buck Creek Mike Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Well, I dodn't do very good, 2 small largemouth in about 3 hours. I did catch 1 white bass near Millstone. I went out Sunday morining with a buddy around Soap Creek in the Gravois and there were whites to be caught. I should have crappie fished, because apparently I suck at bass fishing.
