WebFreeman
What's your analysis, Phil? If tradition holds, as you've said before, the Corps. should side with MDC and deny the request, don't you think? “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted September 2, 2006 Author Root Admin Share Posted September 2, 2006 Mr. Schoonover told me if MDC would object, then COE would not ok the permit. He also said MDC and the permitee were trying to work things out- that the permitee may withdraw the extention into the upper lake themselves. I have not heard anything official. Danoinark
Phil Do you think this was a result or at least partially by the flood of emails and letters in opposition? Also is this and MDC authored letter? Dan Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Members John Wenzlick
Phil, Thanks for letting me know about the dredging proposal, I hadn't heard anything. We have a Mid-Mo Board and TU meeting tonight, I'll see if I can get an update. Hopefully Chris Vitello's letter will have a positive effect on the COE.
