Vacation started Friday and managed to scratch out a few geese upon arriving at the in-laws... Saturday saw the geese putting on O2 Mask and flying ultra high but I still managed to have a white pillow of 8 snows and 2 specks. Sunday was just wrong in so many ways. I got up late 07:00 as it was raining and walked out to the truck to get a smoke and get the gun out. I never left the driveway 8 snows and 2 specks sitting on the tailgate of the truck. They were feeding directly across the bayou from my in-laws and as they would get up they would come right over the house. Could have had alot more but my wife reminded me how dead I would be if we were late to grandmas for lunch lol.

Today was Lazy day around the house getting ready for the rest of the week. Im hitting Beaver tomorrow and then who knows where a week off and lots of catching up to do. Wishing everyone a Very DEAD Duck new years.

Been a little slow the last couple of days on the Rock. Been messing with a goose here and there. The golden eye are always willing to play, but the mallards are thinning out and wising up. They are getting a little harder to come by. Back out on the Rock this morning then heading to Four Rivers or Schell tomorrow.

A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!!
