Went out in the boat with Brandon and his wife Bree yesterday to throw some streamers. Excited because it was finally overcast. Water is extremely clear again (hopefully last night's rain did something). We started here at Sunburst and just before we hit the spring creek outlet Bree tied in to a gorgeous brown that proceeded to jump 3 or 4 times. Fish went 22 1/2" but wasn't very fat. After Wise caught that 22" the other day I thought maybe it had something to do with his skills, but now I must conclude that it is probably the guy on the oars who is 90% responsible for those big fish! We proceeded to pick up a few fish here and there with Brandon getting a 17" brown as well as a 15" and a few smaller. I was rewarded with a few stocker browns who were more than willing to take on a big fly (so much for hero or zero). Right toward the end I missed a fish that would have gone over 20", he hammered it but never got hooked up, I blame Brandon who was on the oars. Despite miserable rainy conditions for much of the float we boated around 10 fish, and missed a few others. I'll attach a picture once the new forum straightens out and allows me to.

So far in the last 8 trips or so taken. Myself, Brandon, Brian, and now Bree have all boated fish between 22-23". Not a bad start to the year!

I couldn't agree more.

Here are the pictures, turns out it was me not the forum's problem. I think it takes more skill to catch those little fish. And yes Brian, that is the fly Brandon took from your box the other day!

We had a great time down there last weekend. It already seems like forever since the trip. I can't wait to get back down there in March. We caught some nice rainbows from Kelly to Sunburst and hooked into and watched a giant rainbow starighten an egg hook and ride off into the sunset, but no monster browns like those beasts. Much props to you guys. Here are a few of the bows from Saturday and a smallie from Friday with Sloss on the 11 point.
