Surely it wasn't the bent tree that gave it away ;). Shot amany of birds off this point over the past 15 plus years. Problem is the yahoo's that like to pull up to it while your hunting, both by vehicle and boat, the joys of hunting public land :D. Watched a guy belly crawl up to the dekes one year and got to about 30 yds from them and jumped and yelled at them trying to get them to fly off. took him a second to figure out they were dekes after I yelled him "you shoot em, you buy em". Last year kept having a guy show up across the cove from me about 8:30 in a ford bronco2 and let his 5 mutt dogs out to run and yell at them the whole time for about 30 min's. Haven't seen him down there this year thankfully. Only problem I've had this year was my dawg getting caught in a leg trap as she was chasing a crippled up on the shore. Thankful that it wasn't any worse than it was.

LOL............Now what im laughing at is we can ID eachothers spots or know the spots and none of us are crying or complaining or making threats.. Any other site and there would be a fight... What a differance it makes when its just good ole boys having fun.

Not too hard to guess this spot. besides myself and my boy's I only know of 2 other people that hunt it regularly and we get along good, and usually end up hunting together if one gets to the spot first, if not we just split up and have the courtesy to let birds work for each other and not call birds off one another or shoot at swings. It's public land and know there's nothing I can do about it other so don't worry about it too much, but one of my biggest pet peeves is empty hulls and trash left behind where people have been hunting. Picked up 38 empty hulls and candy wrappers from 2 different spots this morning.

Have noticed a couple of kids from CofO started hunting it this year as well, my boys have run into a couple times and haven't had any problems with them. It's not that big of an area and can't handle a whole lot of pressure which it seems to be getting alil more than usuall but so far the few that do hunt it are getting along. knock on wood ;).

Same here about trash. I found a bunch of hull and trash in the one i hunt on beaver this weekend, spend 20 minutes picking up after others... I just dont get why people cant do their best to clean up after themselves. I understand shells you might over look but food wrappers, Cig packs and snack food.. come on have some respect for the land too.

The one or two hulls I can see being over looked but a box worth or more??? not only does it look bad but also tells people that it might be a hot spot ;). Picked up over 100 hulls out of one spot last year up in Beaver Creek, thinking either the hunting had been really good or they were that bad of shots ;).
