JohnP Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Hunted with a buddy on a farm pond. Started out slow this morning on pond A, saw maybe a dozen gaddies at first light and only was able get 2 within shooting range. Hunted till about 10am before deciding to check out pond B. Get to pond B and put our sneak on to see it loaded with mallets and gaddies. After trying to strategize the jump and executing it we only managed to drop 3 greenheads and a accidental hen that was caught in the crossfire . Sat and waited to see what might come back and we managed to get 2 more gaddies. Turned out to be a good day from the way it started.

Aimed at the drake, pulled the trigger and dropped the suzie on the left. 20 minutes later, had 2 drakes and a suzie coming straight in again.
