mwfischer Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Very cool. Phil, I noticed the livewell check. I was looking to enter the Team Trout tournament on 2/25 and I wanted to check what the livewell requirements were. We have a small v-bottom boat without a built in well, but we could fashion one w/ an aerator ahead of time, is that all that is required? Thanks for any info, Mike
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 22, 2012 Author Root Admin Posted January 22, 2012 Yea that would work. No restriction except catch and release... but it's to your advantage to keep you fish alive. They lose a lot of weight if they die. Even regular livewells fail. Ice chest with a good aerator works just as good.
mwfischer Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Good deal Phil, that was the plan, so we'll go with that. Thanks.
Gatorjet Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Great fun as always. Thanks for hosting another excellent tournament. I'll try no to be so scary next time! LOL Real men go propless!
Seth Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Great fun as always. Thanks for hosting another excellent tournament. I'll try no to be so scary next time! LOL You can definitely tell a difference when the outboards take off and when the Gator opens up. Those things sound so good!
Gatorjet Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 6.0 Litres of Vortec V8 will do that! LOL Real men go propless!
