BilletHead Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 What a fun hunt. Bird Watcher and I made the meet and greet this morning at 6 AM. Set up the decoys and ourselves. FOGGY and damp. Later on in the mornning a bunch after bunch came up from a lake/pond just to the South and went the other way, maybe they will come back later? Nope but the company was good. We had a good visit. Seven hours worth and it did not seem that long. We will hunt again I bet. thanks Chris for the morning, Marty "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" BilletHead " One thing in life is for sure. If you are careful you can straddle the barbed wire fence but make one mistake and you will be hurting" BilletHead P.S. "May your fences be short or hope you have long legs" BilletHead
Feathers and Fins Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Sounds liek you had fun even without birds and Good Company is worth full limits. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
JohnP Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Some of my best and most memorable hunts were ones where a shot was never fired.
Bird Watcher Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 We will get them next time. A guy has to get blanked every once in awhile to stay hungry. That was a good time.
