Members whitebassman Posted February 3, 2012 Members Posted February 3, 2012 Well, I'm starting to hear a few reports of whites being caught down toward Snap. Anybody been lately? I went week before last and only caught one big sow white and a big sow crappie. Caught lots of barely short crappie. Planning on going in a week or two. I'll update after trip. I think I'll hit Norfork this week. Starting to get some good reports of walleye down there. Well until next time happy fishin' and God Bless! Chris
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 3, 2012 Root Admin Posted February 3, 2012 Went a couple of weeks ago and didn't find much- not even the short crappie. Fished the mouth of Cedar where we have found winter whites- nothing. So haven't found them yet. You find the crappie scattered on the flats or on the bluffs? We tried the bluffs and off the flat at Snap.
Dutch Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I've been down around the Snap area three times looking for crappie, walleye, or whites and so far not a bite. I did catch a few crappie about a month ago above 39 but they seem to have moved. I have seen some minnow fishermen sitting over brush piles but don't know if or not they are catching anything as I'm not one to pull up and ask a bunch of questions.
