You know what the real beauty of this game was? Mizzou beat the Beakers without playing a complete game. Phlip Pressey was ineffectual, Ratliffe was a non-factor for much of the game, and everybody except English missed free throws they usually make. Not only that, but I don't think Mizzou got the usual home court officiating benefit...not that the game was one-sided toward KU, but I think I saw several phantom foul calls against Mizzou, and KU got away with a few that should have been called. The only times things really went Mizzou's way were the two charging calls against Robinson and Taylor near the end. I thought they were good calls, but you don't always get the call in that situation.

Robinson was a real beast. But Denmon sure came to play. And Dixon hit some big shots. And Kimmie played terrific defense, 6'5" against a 7 footer and pretty much shut him down and surely kept him off the boards.

What a comeback at the end. Down 8 with 2 minutes left, and scored the last 11 points, 9 of them by Denmon. Geez, this team is great to watch.

The atmosphere was easily the craziest of any game I've ever been to.Especially with the comeback at the end. Denmon has been off since OSU, but he sure did make up for it tonight when it really counted.

This puts Mizzou at 4-0 in games decided by 4 or less... They just find a way to win the tight ones. I guess that has a lot to do with their free-throw shooting, although Denmon actually missed one tonight!

I realy enjoyed that game the Tigers have suprised me all year no size and a short roster but these guys play the whole game. The crowd looked like Kiel Auditorium in the 50' and 60's for St Louis U games in the Mo Valley Conference. I might be the only one on this forum that got to watch Oscar Robertson, Jerry Lucas Don Nelson etc. when they were in college. Wow am I really that old?

A great win for Mizzou! They control their own destiny the rest of the way as they own the tie breaker's against KU and Baylor. If they can find away to win in Lawrence (very very tough), that would be huge. Need to make sure they don't let up at OU tonight like did in the loss to Oklahoma State. How good did Robinson for KU look....he was a beast.

Well, I don't think they let up all that much at OU, other than some confused defense at times. OU just shot about 30 percentage points or so higher than they usually do and made it a very close game. Good thing they didn't hit their free throws. It just goes to show that it's ALWAYS tough to win on the road in conference.

Yep, any road win is a good win and after the KU game I will take it. OU shot the ball well. MU needs to clean up a bit on defense.

Mizzou is making Baylor look like a not Top-10 team today!

I know...The guard play was just outstanding. The fact that we can get out-rebounded as bad as we did and still win by 15 is incredible.Phil Pressey was definitely the x-factor today, both offensively and defensively. Baylor did help us out by missing so many point blank shots.

What I love about this team is that there seems to be someone different that stands out every night...Denmon, Dixon, English, Radcliffe, the Presseys, any of them are capable of scoring 15-20+ points on any given night. Moore can be really good at times too. He may not put a whole lot of points on the board, but he's a great defender and takes a lot of charges, which has been key lately. It makes it hard to lose when you have that many weapons.

I'd sure like to see Kansas lose one more before Mizzou plays them again, but it's looking like the game in Lawrence might be for all the Big 12 marbles. And I really think Mizzou has a decent chance to win that game. And you're right, this year there have been five different players that have been the leading scorer on a given night, and the only two who haven't, Moore and Matt Pressey, have come up big in a few games. That's what makes this team so good offensively; you can't concentrate your defense on one, two, or even three players, because anybody on the floor can hurt you.

The game at Kansas will be a major challenge for sure, probably the toughest Missouri has faced so far. There aren't many places where it's tougher to come out with a win than Lawrence.

I'd also like to see Missouri get some separation from Kansas in the standings, but there is a part of me that would be pretty excited about the Big 12 Title coming down to that game, it being maybe the last time we play each KU for who knows how long.
