I find it disturbing because there really can't be any civil discourse on what probably are important issues. The snuffing out of anything contrary is rampant on most issues. But alas. I'm happy to report to you that I'm in the process of making some Agnew mods to my solo canoe for the spring including the battery box tacklebox that I'm most excited about. I tend to bring more water in the boat than most so keeping it out of the water will be very nice and one less thing to bungee in. Thanks for posting the pics and the idea.

Glad you found them of use...if you run into any snags that I might be able to help with, let me know. I went through about fifty different ways of carrying my lures and trying to keep them out of the bilge water before I finally hit upon the battery box idea, so I know what you mean.

As for civil discourse, I'm with you. You don't win arguments or even make people consider your position if you are always making enemies, and everybody should always stop and realize that nobody is right all the time...or wrong all the time.

Seems to me that there's often "dog-piling and bullying" on both sides when things go south. That's what gets me on a lot of controversial issues...people tend to overlook the bad behavior on their side while getting very sensitive to the same behavoir on the other side.

It's only those who disagree with my pure apostolic dogma driven facts as I present them who argue their satanic beliefs on this website and if you dare to disagree with my Biblical Godly directed opinion I will bully and dogpile you into total submission.
