Not An "a-Rig" Post.....!

I know I am going off topic not posting about the only lure being thrown these days but I am still thinking about the jerkbait. What length, power and action rod you guys using for your jerkbait setup?

Have always used something softer. Right now an old (90's vintage) All Star Zell Rowland TW rod, and a 6'6" St Croix premier that is about the same overall. Also have a ML St Croix premier in the crankbait series...graphite with a moderate action, also good for the Top Dollar and other lighter chuggers like Yellow Magics. Not a fan of glass for sticks, but also do not like the super high modulus blanks on the other end. A blank like an old IM6 provides some of the give of glass but is still easier to handle and more sensitive.

Your Tigers look good, but hten everybody who is anybody beats Baylor. Am having fun with KS fans this year, especially since my Dukies got them in Maui. What a difference a coach makes...
