Members JDH_MOangler Posted February 29, 2012 Members Posted February 29, 2012 Those who were affected are in my thoughts and prayers. I saw some pictures of Kimberling Inn and the Walmart in West Branson and it looks awful.
Members Rodney Bledsoe Posted February 29, 2012 Members Posted February 29, 2012 My prayers toward all around the Kimberling City & Branson area. Only 2 defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and an American G.I. One died for your soul the other for your freedom
OBBT Staff Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Prayers sent as well. Hope that everyone is safe!
Members 4fishys Posted March 1, 2012 Members Posted March 1, 2012 You are all in my thoughts as well.......it can be a very devistating event for sure. Can anybody tell me the rough path the twister took? I'm a long way away and wonder if the dock and some signage I have up might need attention. We're in the Baxter area up Breadtray Mountain road. Any info. is appreciated. Might have to get someone to go check for me. Again, thoughts and prayers to all affected. Bill It was a brave man who first ate an oyster!

Bill First touched down around Joe Bald Road in Kimberling City and then tore a path east ending about two miles east of Kissee Mills per The News Leader

drs7558 Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Our condo in Schooner Bay Landing is OK. Had an O4' Champ 201 and an 08' South Bay Tri-toon in dock #30 at Port of Kimberling, distroyed. The motors are sticking out of the water but thats about all we can see. Could have been a lot worse. A maintance man living in a 5th wheel trailor in the camp grounds took a tumble. It rolled about 3 times with him in it. He's OK. We saw lots of severe damage in the area, thank GOD no one was hurt bad in this area. Boats and tackle can be replaced. I was looking farward to fishing next week. I haven't fished since last april. Hip problems, surgery. Thought I was ready to get at em. Guess not. Denny
mclothier1 Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Here's a link to the NWS damage map, shows the exact path and strength of the Tornado. http://www.crh.noaa.gov/sgf/?n=event_2012feb29_tornadotracks My family and I rode out a F4 in a basement back in 1999, scary scary stuff for sure! Just remember things can be replaced. Thoughts and prayers for everyone in the area, I wish I could be there helping with the cleanup.
