Justin Spencer Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 In the Ozarks I have often found it humerous how many of the residents support particular candidates in an election and while argueing for "their" candidate often agree with the opinions of the opposition never realizing it. If you make a google search for WHO SHOULD I VOTE FOR, you will come up with a variety of survey sites where you can answer questions and see who the site thinks you agree with the most. If you are not doing anything it is kind of fun to see what the computer comes up with. I took a variety of these tests and the candidate I was leaning toward always came up on top. Wondering if these might be biased toward a candidate I then did the opposite of what I agreed with and then some in the middle and the results were much like I expected. Most sites then show you where you agree and disagree, and they usually have you weight the questions as well. I would like to see the results of an election if we never heard or saw from a candidate and just filled out one of these surveys to choose a candidate, bet it would come out much different! Before taking the survey I thought I was a little closer to the middle than I was, and some surveys had me closer than others, but this is a tool that might help some people if they are kind of on the fence. Some of the sites are from last election. http://www.selectsmart.com/president/ is one that is for this year among others. Justin Spencer Posted March 11, 2012 Author Posted March 11, 2012 ....or you could just fish in the rain. Watching a driftboat right now out in front of "my office" (might be Wise) looks pretty miserable out there, think I'll wait for the 80 degree temps this week, although it will be pretty hot in waders!
