BolivarBasser Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I have for sale a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, with full time 4WD and a 5.2L V8 engine. 183,XXX miles. Truck has aftermarket American Racing wheels that are red, matching the paint. The vehicle recently stopped running, and I have no idea why, as I am not a car mechanic. I have had the vehicle for a long time, so I am in the mood to get a new car. Therefore, I am offering this one up for sale to anyone who has the know-how to get it running again. To give you an idea of what's wrong with it, when you turn the key to start it, you hear a single "clunk" noise and the engine will not turn over. Other than this problem, the car is in good condition. The only thing I have had to replace has been a starter last year and a water pump about 5 years ago. I just put brand new tires on it about 3 months ago. The tires and the wheels ALONE would value $1000. Price is $1500, or make me a decent offer. The truck is worth close to twice that, so take this opportunity to get a fixer-upper at a great price. The repair could cost $20 or $1000...either way, you're getting a good deal. The rest of the vehicle is in decent shape...about what you would expect for a 17 year old car. Not pristine, but far from a beater. 417-298-4372, Ask for Justin. Vehicle comes with a clean and clear title. Never been wrecked. If you are interested, let me know and I'll email you some pics.
fishinwrench Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 One question; Was it running and stalled....and now won't restart ? Or did you kill the engine via the key switch the last time it was running, and the next time you hopped in it it just went "clunk"? Either way shoot me a pic or two (fishinwrench@gmail.com) or better yet post them up here. Thanks, wrench
BolivarBasser Posted March 15, 2012 Author Posted March 15, 2012 It was running and stalled on my wife while she was driving it....I can't post pics on here so I'll shoot you some.
