Snagging At Winfield Lock And Dam

Warm and sunny, the water level is around a late summer level but it's 47 degrees according to the the web site. We started in a old goto spot, made three casts and landed a 37 inch spoonbill. Nice start for opening day. It's been 2 hours now and 6 other boats and the only thing we are all catching is small big head carp and the bottom. More to report later I hope.

Gotta sunburn, gotta sticky stinky boat, I'm thursty, did not catch an any white bass or anymore spoonbill, you'll never get a limit of big head and we got A boat full, tomato plants and flies will be happy, but it still beats workin:)

Rather than start a new thread for each snagging spot up here I'm just gonna update this one.

Hit howell is last evening after work. The rivers up and full of debris. snagged for 2 hours had 3 people tell me I couldn't do it another 3 interested enough to ask how caught 46 logs, 8 big head (2 nice ones), 1-35 inch spoonbill and lost 2 rigs.
