drew03cmc Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Beautiful fish, my personal favorite. Nicely done gents. Andy
BassMaster#1 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Nice, water looks clear. That wouldn't happen to be the upper meramec would it? Say somewhere around the steelville area. I fish out that way all the time for smallmouth. Tied my personal best 3lb smallmouth on the Huzzah last spring with a tube bait.
drew03cmc Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 That is in the other corner of the state. That is a nice Neosho smallmouth bass, which only live in the Elk and Spring drainages in Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma, along with a few other little trickles here and there. Andy
Mitch f Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Nice video and nice fish, great job guys. We need more movies like this on this forum! "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
LittleRedFisherman Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 I agree with Mitch, these videos are really cool to see, nice river smallie. I've got some video I've taken over the winter, and may get on the computer tonight and try to put a video together. Really though, seeing that just makes me want to head to the Ozarks asap... There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!

Nice video and nice fish, great job guys. We need more movies like this on this forum! We hope and plan on posting more. And maybe we'll get a little better at it. Thanks. LittleRedFisherman Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 . Get your rear here! Lets do some fishing! Chief, hoping to head that direction maybe later in the week, it's been harder to get away with the work season on me now. Next winter I plan on devoting mostly all my extra time to fishing, basically gonna hang up the duck waders. Got to fish and meet up with GotMuddy one day this winter on the Eleven Point, next winter may expand my horizons on some different waters and meet some more ozarkanglers!! We may have to give it a try sometime.. There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
Mitch f Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Not exactly spring but Feb 1st. one of the rare times I take a video. This is my brother catching the fish and I am filming, BTW I asked Eric to go that day but was playing Mr. Mom "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
