With today's available technology I can check up on the forum WHILE I'm fishing. I can post threads AND photos from the field.

So quit trying to shut me up by telling me to "go fishing". If you don't like the topic at hand or what I have to say, don't click on it or simply click that cute lil "ignore" button next to my posts!! Ya bossy jerk.

Yup, and p line cx (4lb on the UL and 8 lb on the Light rod)... Though I did put down the cane pole long ago...

My rivers are small, Mitch, big rods and big line are overkill. And I'll admit, I'm rough on equipment so an "indestructible" ugly stick is a good option.

But if given enough evidence to the contrary, I'm certain I'd change my stripes. (on any subject). But it seems as though advertising gimmicks and such don't work on me. If it ain't broke, don't fix it?

Yeah yeah, I hurt people's feelings when I point out the lunacy of the tooth fairy story too, it is what it is. I am not the one repeatedly setting children up for disappointment.

But that wasn't my point, my point what that I AM fishing as I have have my phone dictate this post.

Not offended, confounded is the term I'd have used. And if all you've got to say is "go fishing", then maybe YOU should go fishing.

Don't worry Kirby, our forum moderator is on vacation and the kids are acting up. This is usually a great forum but some people always stir it up.

IMO quality rods have really come down in price in the last 10 years, good quality reels are a different story.
